Learn how to design, build and operate your own remote control airplane.
Peter Huson and Justin Szserbinski, students at Washington-Lee High School, have started a hands-on class about Remote Control Planes.
The 3-session class will:- Educate students about Aerospace Engineering including Aerodynamics, Control Surfaces, and Propulsion systems.
- Help students to design and build their own Ready-To Fly Remote Control plane.
- Teach students about applications for Remote Control planes including aerial video, aerial mapping, and drone delivery systems.
The class is free and sessions will be at 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm on Sundays at Washington-Lee High School (1301 N Stafford St.). The sessions will be on May 24th, June 7th, and June 14th. Class space is limited so make sure to sign up soon.
